When Yahoo announced it would be changing it’s logo, they did it in a unique way. Rather than just announce it and show us the finalized change, they launched their “30 Days of Change” campaign.
Day 1
Day 30
Each day, for 30 days Yahoo implemented one of the logo options across their site and other products in the US, as a way of “honoring the legacy of [their] present logo” while still having fun, Yahoo said. The change comes just weeks after Yahoo took out the top spot as the most visited website in the US, and a year after CEO Marissa Mayer took the reigns.
Other popular sites have also undergone face-lifts over the years to keep up with modern design expectations; such as Facebook and Twitter. What do you think about the new Yahoo logo? Do you think one of the other days should have been picked? Let us know in the comments below!
