A recently released study by the Pew Internet and American Life Project offers some unique, troubling and counter-intuitive statistics about teenage social media use. In a broad sense, it showed that teenagers have a decreased concern for social media privacy and growing disillusionment (specifically with Facebook).
The study also shows that teenagers may have much more specific challenges than typical users and are using some unique coping mechanisms to deal with those.
