The Day Reddit, Mozilla, Tumblr and more Fought Back Against NSA
On Feb 11th, 2014, Reddit, Mozilla and Tumblr (Yahoo), together with more than 5,300 other technology companies organized a protest against the NSA’s mass surveillance program via the website known as “The Day We Fight Back.” The protest included expected participants such as American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and Thunderclap. Other notable members included politicians who rallied support via their twitter accounts.
