GSD&M is searching for students seeking to gain hands-on experience in project-based internships to further develop their knowledge of the advertising industry.

GSD&M intern candidates MUST be enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate level student at their college or university. We are also accepting new college graduate applications for this position.

-Relevant/Applicable majors preferred (Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Design, Art, Communication, Business)

-Previous internship(s) a plus, but not required

Job Description: Position Function:
The Decision Sciences intern will provide support to the Analytics and Social Media practices at the agency.Position-Specific Responsibilities/Duties:
-Pull weekly and/or monthly reporting/analytics that track social media performance back to goals and provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization
-Perform social media audits for client-specific business and new business opportunities. This involves working with native social platforms as well as social listening tool to understand brands’ competitive standing and areas of opportunity
-Assist in developing POVs regarding social media landscape (strategy, analytics, content, etc.)
-Monitor and share timely and relevant industry/trade research, articles, trend reports, etc. with the team
-Participate in intern project with the rest of the agency internsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:
-Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
-Proficient writing, communication and presentation skills
-Working knowledge of social media management tools and monitoring/listening tools a plus
-Google Analytics is a plus, but not required
