Instagram Ups the Video Ante

Instagram have up’d the ante of their video offering with Instagram 4.1.

New changes and updates are always exciting! Usually it is bug fixes but this time there is a nifty tool that straightens your photos!

Import Video from Library
Users can now upload and post video’s from their phones media library, in the same way you can with photos. Once uploaded, you can select which exact part of the clip you want to include,and also which areas will be featured in the Instagram square frame – to avoid missing the vital part of your video.

Video Supported on Ice Cream Sandwich
Instagram received a huge number of requests for video to be supported on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and they’ve delivered with this update.

Automatic Straightening (for iOS)
When a photo is taken from the in-app camera, you have the option to automatically level out your photo – and also includes a slider to rotate and adjust any photo (including those imported from the media library).
